Full-grain buffalo hide, vegetable-tanned in Kanpur. 14oz indigo selvedge denim, shuttle-loom woven in Ahmedabad. Solid brass hardware in antique finish from Moradabad. Striped cotton lining from a co-operative in Tamil Nadu.
Shipping & returns
Care & repair
Wax twice a year with the PARS leather balm (sold separately). Wipe denim with a dry cloth; never machine wash. Avoid prolonged contact with rain — if caught, dry flat away from direct heat. Send it back to the atelier when it's tired; we re-stitch any seam for life.

The Trailhead's body is cut from one continuous piece of Saddle Tan buffalo, vegetable-tanned over six weeks in Kanpur. The denim is shuttle-loomed in Ahmedabad — heavyweight, indigo-dyed, contrast-stitched in cotton. Hardware is cast in solid brass and aged by hand in Moradabad.
Stitching is double-row in waxed thread along every load-bearing seam. We sign each piece on the inside seam with a serial that ties back to the maker, the batch, and the hide.

Hand-guided industrial machines stitch every seam in waxed cotton thread. Load-bearing seams are reinforced twice.

Edges hand-painted in burnt umber. Compass emblem hot-stamped. Inside seam signed with a serial that ties to the maker.
