Description
The Trailhead is our long-carry workhorse. Drawstring closure under a riveted leather flap. Twin side pockets — one for a 1L bottle, one for an umbrella. A padded sleeve on the inside back wall holds a 14″ laptop. Striped cotton lining throughout, so you can actually see what's inside.
Designed to scuff. The Saddle hide will deepen and the brass will tarnish honestly over the first year — that's the point. Send it back to us at year five for a re-stitch.

Full-grain buffalo hide, vegetable-tanned in Kanpur. 14oz indigo selvedge denim, shuttle-loom woven in Ahmedabad. Solid brass hardware in antique finish from Moradabad. Striped cotton lining from a co-operative in Tamil Nadu.

The Trailhead's body is cut from one continuous piece of Saddle Tan buffalo, vegetable-tanned over six weeks in Kanpur. The denim is shuttle-loomed in Ahmedabad — heavyweight, indigo-dyed, contrast-stitched in cotton. Hardware is cast in solid brass and aged by hand in Moradabad.
Stitching is double-row in waxed thread along every load-bearing seam. We sign each piece on the inside seam with a serial that ties back to the maker, the batch, and the hide.
